ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR HOSPITALS SEEKING MED-HOPE'S ASSISTANCE

  1. Commitment to JCI Accreditation: Hospitals seeking support from Med-Hope must demonstrate a strong commitment to achieving Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation, a prestigious recognition of excellence in healthcare. This commitment includes a clear intention to develop a comprehensive plan for accreditation.

  2. Plan Development: Hospitals must actively work on creating a detailed plan for acquiring JCI accreditation. This plan should outline the specific steps and timelines required to meet the accreditation standards. Hospitals should be dedicated to the process and be prepared to take substantial steps within a defined timeframe.

  3. Preparatory Accreditation: Hospitals should showcase their commitment to JCI accreditation by actively pursuing preparatory accreditation or showing evidence of their readiness to embark on this journey. This preliminary step reflects their dedication to achieving the highest standards of healthcare quality and safety.

  4. Application for Assistance: Hospitals interested in receiving assistance from Med-Hope must be asked by Med-Hope to formally apply for consideration. Unrequested applications will not be considered. It's essential to understand that submitting an application does not guarantee assistance, as the selection process is competitive and depends on available resources.

  5. Acceptance by Med-Hope: Hospitals must successfully pass Med-Hope's evaluation process to be accepted as eligible for assistance. This evaluation assesses the hospital's mission, alignment with Med-Hope's objectives, and readiness for the accreditation journey.

  6. Minimum Operational Period: Hospitals must have been in operation with qualified medical professionals, including doctors and nurses, for a minimum of three years. This requirement underscores the importance of organizational stability and experience in providing healthcare services.

  7. 5-Year Growth Plan: Hospitals should submit a comprehensive 5-year growth plan that outlines their strategic goals, expansion plans, and initiatives to improve healthcare delivery. This plan serves as a roadmap for both the hospital and Med-Hope to collaborate effectively.

  8. Flexible Criteria: It's important to note that the criteria for hospitals may be subject to change or modification by Med-Hope at any time. This adaptability ensures that our support remains aligned with evolving healthcare standards and best practices.

By meeting these criteria, hospitals can become eligible for Med-Hope's assistance, facilitating their journey toward achieving JCI accreditation and delivering top-notch healthcare services to their communities.
